These terms are the agreement between you and MyTerra, operated by Dervis Kanina, Tirana, Albania ("MyTerra", "we"). By creating an account or using the app you accept them. We have written them to be readable — if anything is unclear, email dervis.kanina@gmail.com.
MyTerra is a farm management app for planning, tracking, and learning about small-scale food growing: crops, animals, tasks, seasonal calendars, pantry, financial tracking, and reference manuals. It is a planning and record-keeping tool.
You need an account to use the app. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 to sign up.
Your farm data belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it purely to run the service (sync, backup, showing it back to you). You can export it from Settings at any time. We claim no ownership over it and do not use it for anything else.
MyTerra provides general educational information, not professional advice. Growing calendars, yield estimates, livestock schedules, and financial figures are planning aids based on published sources and typical conditions. Real outcomes depend on your climate, soil, animals, and practices, and can differ substantially.
Food preservation carries real safety risks. Our preservation guides follow published guidance (e.g. the National Center for Home Food Preservation), but you are solely responsible for following current, tested procedures for canning, fermenting, curing, and storing food. Improper preservation can cause serious illness, including botulism. When in doubt, consult official sources or discard the food.
Nothing in the app is veterinary, medical, legal, or financial advice.
Don't abuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse the security of the app or database, no using it to store unlawful content, and no reselling access. We may suspend accounts that do.
We aim to keep MyTerra available and your data safe (the app also works offline and you can export backups), but the service is provided "as is" without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We are a small operation; maintenance windows and occasional failures happen.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, including crop losses, livestock losses, or spoiled food, arising from your reliance on information in the app (see section 5). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, and nothing limits the statutory rights you hold as a consumer in your country of residence.
You can stop using MyTerra and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how). We may terminate accounts that violate these terms; if we ever discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data, and Lifetime purchasers within that notice period will be treated fairly regarding refunds.
These terms are governed by the laws of Albania. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you keep any mandatory protections and forum rights of your home country.
We may update these terms; the date above will change and significant updates will be announced in the app. Continuing to use MyTerra after a change means you accept it.
